First Junior Research Fellow: Vishal

Vishal joins as first JRF in our group through the project sponsored by DST-SERB. He has obtained M. Sc. in Biochemistry from Shivaji University, Kolhapur. He will be working to isolate endophytic microorganisms from the halophytic plant Salicornia Brachiata. He brings his expertise on microbial isolation and identification from marine sediments and would be involved in isolation and utilization of endophytes from the halophytes.
