Presently working as a Principal Scientist at Natural Products & Green Chemistry Division, CSIR-Central Salt & Marine Chemicals Research Institute (CSIR-CSMCRI), Bhavnagar, Gujarat. His research interests lie at the interface of chemistry and biology. His focus is on natural product discovery from unexplored terrestrial and marine sources such as plants growing in extreme climate, marine invertebrates, and microorganisms. He employs techniques from microbiology, molecular biology, and natural products chemistry to achieve the target goals.
